Brenda J Todd is a writer, songwriter, singer, actress, director, photographer, editor, and documentarian. As a young child, she regularly moved from place to place and fell in and out of the foster care system. Brenda has lived in nine states and numerous cities throughout the United States and, like Benny, knows what it is to be in unfamiliar surroundings and long for a real home. As an observer of animals human and otherwise, Brenda finds both comfort and wonder in the fact that we are all bound by similar experiences and emotions. Brenda’s ‘real home’ is in New Jersey with her husband, three sons, and rescue pets, Hayley and Benny.
